Any batter, any pitcher, any situation. The Statcast engine plays the plate appearance out thousands of times and shows you the odds, the park effect, and one pitch sequence worth screenshotting.
The simulator uses the same pitch-by-pitch engine that powers Legends Deck games. It leans on regressed multi-season Statcast rates for both players, not raw head-to-head history: career batter vs pitcher lines are usually too thin to predict anything on their own.
Pick a batter, a pitcher, the count, the base state, the outs and the ballpark. The engine plays the plate appearance out 1,000 to 5,000 times (2,000 by default) and reports the full outcome distribution: strikeout, walk, hit by pitch, single, double, triple, home run and batted-ball out, plus average pitches per PA and expected runs. It also returns one seeded, reproducible sample pitch sequence you can share.
No. Career head-to-head lines are almost always too small to predict anything, so the simulation leans on regressed multi-season Statcast rates for both players instead. The prerendered matchup pages show the real career head-to-head line next to the simulation, flagged when the sample is thin.
1,000, 2,000 or 5,000 per park variant, selectable in the form; 2,000 is the default. Every result carries the scenario seed, so any run can be reproduced exactly.
